Ride for Compassion sees cyclists and support crew take to the road to help raise money for vulnerable children living in poverty. From September 17th to October 19th, a dedicated group of cyclists and support crew is riding a gruelling 4,200 kilometres across Australia, including the rugged terrain of the Nullarbor.
The team is aiming to raise $1,000,000 for vulnerable children, including those affected by the global food crisis, and see 150 children sponsored through Compassion Australia.
Conflict, extreme weather and COVID-19 have created a global food crisis that is having a devastating impact on children in poverty. According to the UN, the world is now moving backwards in its efforts to fight food insecurity and malnutrition. The number of people who need help is skyrocketing, but you can support our local church partners as they feed hungry families.
It's impossible to know how long the global food crisis will last, but experts predict it could last years if action isn't taken.
Don’t worry—you don’t need to reach for your lycra. You can fight hunger and support vulnerable children where you are today.
When you give to Ride for Compassion, you are partnering with this dedicated team of cyclists and a global neighbourhood of supporters to respond to a global crisis.

In addition to giving to the cause, you can support the riders along the journey. From Perth to Newcastle, the team will be stopping in towns along the way to meet with the community and share the work of Compassion Australia. Bring and share a meal with the riders at 6:30 pm and stay for a Compassion presentation at 7:30 pm each night. Visit rideforcompassion.com to find out when we will be in your town.
